Thank you for participating in Round 2 of our community visioning process!
We appreciate the many community members that joined us during Round 2! Over the course of a week in March, the City hosted three workshops focused on preliminary zoning regulations for new housing and mixed-use developments. The workshops were part of the second round of community visioning for Neighborhoods Where We All Belong - the City’s initiative to implement the Housing Element and Measure K. Community input received to date will be used to refine draft zoning regulations for building height, density, open space, and other site and building design and development considerations.

What happened in Round 2?
Round 2 of Neighborhoods Where We All Belong consisted of two in-person workshops and one virtual workshop to share preliminary zoning regulations for new residential and mixed-use developments. An overview of the initiative was provided and participants explored related design and development concepts such as density, setbacks, open space, and more. Hands-on activities allowed participants to identify priorities for new objective design standards and visualize concepts like building height and density. All materials were provided in both English and Spanish. For more information about each event, click below.
