City Council Public Hearing on April 7

On April 7, 2026, Costa Mesa City Council agenda includes a resolution to establish fees for housing development review, the second reading of an ordinance to amend Title 13 (Planning, Zoning, and Development) to rezone Housing Element Opportunity Sites (not non-Housing Element Measure K sites), implement Housing Element programs, and make related revisions to the Zoning Code, and the second reading of an ordinance to amend Title 9 (Licenses and Business Regulations) for consistency with amendments to Title 13.

City Council agendas are posted to the City’s website at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting. City Council meetings are held at 6 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of each month in the Council Chambers at 77 Fair Drive.
