Thank you to the many members of the community that participated and engaged with us this summer of 2026. More information about what we did, what we heard, and upcoming public hearings is provided below.
Round 3 of Community Visioning
Round 3 of Neighborhoods Where We All Belong consisted of one in-person Open House to coincide with the availability of the public comment period for the Draft Zoning Updates (as well as the amendment to the Housing Element and Draft Environmental Impact Report). At the Open House, participants were provided an overview of Neighborhoods Where We All Belong and were able to review key components of the Draft Zoning Updates, including draft amendments to the Zoning Code, specific plans, some General Plan Elements, and new multifamily and mixed-use objective design standards. Upcoming Public Hearings
Based on the community’s feedback and requirements to comply with state law, various documents have been revised and finalized for presentation to the Planning Commission and City Council throughout the months of August, September, and October.
