Zoning Updates for Public Review
Comment Period (May 18, 2026 to June 15, 2026 )
In order to comply with state law, including implementation of the City’s Housing Element and rezoning of Measure K sites, the City of Costa Mesa has prepared proposed zoning updates. Drafts of the proposed zoning updates are available for public review and comment between May 18, 2026 and June 15, 2026. Drafts of the proposed zoning updates are available at the links below and at Costa Mesa City Hall (77 Fair Dr, Costa Mesa, CA 92626). Interested persons are invited to submit written comments during the review period in the provided comment box or by email to neighborhoods@costamesaca.gov. Public hearings at Planning Commission and City Council are anticipated to follow in the fall and summer of 2026 and will be further noticed.
